My good friend, Joy Berrington, thinks a photo like this one would represent me better! That's friends for you, huh!  During the 'troublesome teen' years, after trying to take my life at age 15 by way of an overdose of Asprin the Lord spoke to me audibly in hospital saying, "It's going to be alright". He said it twice. At the same time I saw in front of me going for a great distance something like clouds and Niagara Falls. It was if He was saying He has the whole span of my life and eternity covered! Almost a year later after attending church for several months I became a Christian after my youth leader explained the Gospel to me after I was drawn to the warmth I felt from the Christians around me. At a youth camp at 16 years of age, one evening around my natural birthday being 4 April, I felt a gentle but strong prompt to go outside and kneel on the grass and ask Jesus in. So, right under a starry sky that's exactly what I did! Have had high and low times since, but it was the best decision and the most important decision I've ever made, and arguably the wisest one! Where will you spend eternity? A scary but good question to ask. Are you trusting in your own good works or on Jesus death on the Cross in your place and His Resurrection? Maybe you say, "I don't have many or any good works to boast of". Maybe you think you have lapsed too far from the reach of God's tender mercies. Not so, because Jesus died for all and the Good Shepherd in will in no wise cast away any who come to Him in truth. It is all about Him.
